Before you make a reservation, please agree to the following:

  • We will meet all of our guests at Naha Airport for all tours.
    The cost of transportation to Naha Airport is not included in the tour fee. We do not arrange for your transportation to the meeting place, so please make your own arrangements.
  • When you apply for a tour by yourself, you will share a room with another tour participant of the same gender. If you wish to stay alone in a single room, you will be charged an additional fee. If you request to stay in a room alone, please let us know at the time of booking.

Conditions for participation in our tours:
Q.Can children participate?
A. Children between the ages of 10 and 65 are eligible to participate. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All tour participants must be able to participate in all activities. For instance, this includes climbing over rocky terrain on some of our tours.
Q. What is "Activity Difficulty: Beginner Level 2?"
A. This level includes 2-4 hours of physical activity per day, such as hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, and other outdoor activities. This level is considered suitable for a wide range of people.
Q. Can one person participate?
A. Yes, you can. Our tours are small group tours with a maximum of 6 participants and a minimum of 4. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum, the tour will be cancelled. In this case, we will notify you by e-mail at least 30 days prior to the tour start date (Japan time). You can stay in a room by yourself for an additional fee, which you can request at the time of reservation.
Reservation/Change/Cancellation
Q. How can I make reservations for tours?
A. We accept reservations online through our website.
Step 1: Please click on the tour reservation button and apply via the ENQUIRE form on each page.
Step 2: OKINAWA ADVENTURES will send you an email to submit your information. Please send us the necessary information for the tour application in reply to this email.
Step 3: Please pay the tour fee. Your tour reservation is confirmed.
Q. What methods of payment are available for tours?
A. Payment must be made by bank transfer. The bank transfer account information will be provided in the email sent by Okinawa Adventures in step 2 above. Please pay the amount in Japanese yen as indicated on the bill. You are to pay all fees for the transfer. The ability to pay by credit card is under preparation, but is not available at this time.
Q. How can I check the status of my reservation?
A. After your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. Please keep this confirmation email until the day of the tour.
Q. Can I change my reservation details, for example, change the dates?
A. No, you cannot change your reservation. If you wish to change your reservation, please cancel your reservation and make a new application for the date you wish to change to.
Q. Can I cancel my reservation? What are the cancellation fee rules? How do I cancel?
A. Cancellation of a reservation will be effective when OKINAWA ADVENTURES confirms your e-mail notification during our business hours (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Japan time on weekdays.) Please contact us by e-mail. The following cancellation fees will apply;
21 days prior to the start of the tour: Free of charge
20 to 8 days prior to the start of the tour: 20%.
7 to 2 days prior to the tour start date: 30%.
One day before the tour starts: 40%
The day before the start of the tour: 50%
Non-participation without contact: 100%
Tour Reservations & Others
Q. Is there anything I should book on my own?
A. All tours begin at Naha Airport (the meeting point). The cost of transportation to the meeting point is not included in the tour. Please make your own arrangements for transportation to Naha Airport. After meeting at Naha Airport, we will arrange and guide you through all the details listed in the itinerary until you return to Naha Airport on the last day of the tour.
Q. Tour Conditions
A. If the number of applicants does not meet the minimum number of participants indicated on the website or in the brochure, the tour will be cancelled. We will notify you of the cancellation at least 30 days prior to the tour start date. The tour fee will be fully refunded. We will pay for the cost to provide you with the refund. The tour may be cancelled due to weather or other reasons.
Tour Details
Q. What kind of accommodations are there?
A. We have selected accommodations that fit the tour concept of experiencing the culture and nature of Okinawa. Each room has a private bathroom.
*Tabi no Teitaku Okinawa Nakijin won’t serve well as pajamas. Please bring your own pajamas.
Q. Can I use Wi-Fi?
A. Wi-Fi is available in our accommodations free of charge; however, please note that many facilities in northern Okinawa have a weak signal and a fragile Wi-Fi environment due to the deep forests.
Q. Is it possible to accommodate allergies and vegetarian meals?
A. If you have any allergies, please let us know at the time of reservation. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee the removal of allergens. We ask that you make your own informed decision when dining at restaurants.
Q. Can I request a private tour?
A. If you apply for a tour with 6 people, we will offer it as a private tour. We do not offer customized tours upon request.
On the day of the tour
Q. Where and when is the meeting place and time?
A. The meeting place is in front of the fish tank (with tropical fish) at Gate B, Exit B of the domestic flight at Naha Airport. Please confirm the meeting time in the final information e-mail. The meeting time differs depending on the tour.
Q. Are there any changes to the contents of the tours?
A. Tour content is subject to change due to weather and other circumstances.
Q. Can I leave the tour during the tour?
A. You may leave the tour at any of the stops if you inform the tour guide in advance and sign a request form to leave the tour. For safety reasons, we do not permit leaving the tour at a place of your choosing or in a situation where you have not given us prior notice. You will not be allowed to return to the tour after leaving the group. The tour is not covered by travel insurance after leaving the tour. No refunds will be made.
Participation in the day's activities
Q. Will there be any physical condition check on the day of the activity?
A. We will check your physical condition just before the activity. If you are not feeling well, you may not be allowed to participate in the activity. Please understand that the safety of our guests is our first priority, and we ask that you follow the guide's judgment.
Q. If I am tired, can I skip some of the activities on the tour?
A. As a general rule, please make reservations on the assumption that you will complete the activities set out in the tour.
If you wish not to participate in an activity before leaving your accommodation on the day of the activity, you may choose to remain in that accommodation without participating in the activity. In this case, you will be required to pay any necessary fees, such as transportation to the next destination and any extension fees for the accommodation. If you wish to not participate in an activity just before it begins, it is possible you could rest in the cab if one is available at the location.
